From a young age, I knew I wanted to follow a career path in science. I initially applied to Stellenbosch University to studyMolecular Biology and after a few months realized it wasn’t the best fit for me. I was intrigued by the idea of making wine- it being a combination of my interest in science and my love for nature. What excites me, especially as a young winemaker, is the constant development and progress of theSouth African wine industry. I love that wine has the ability to connect people from all over the world. I am honored to have recently been named a Finalist in the Diners ClubYoung Winemaker of the Year Awards for 2020 as well as included in the 30 Under 30 by Wine Land Magazine
