What to expect: The Nacré is produced in the same fashion as the Sémillons of Australia’s Hunter Valley and is capable of decades of aging. The wine bears the name Nacré, meaning mother-of-pearl, as a testament to its affinity for pairing with oysters. On the nose, the wine bursts with fleshy aromas of citrus, apple and stone fruits layered with a nutty savoriness from the bottle age. In fact, this wine is bottle-aged 5 years before release. On the palate, it’s crisp, racy, and focused with layer upon layer of flavor that opens up with air.

Optimal Experience: Serve chilled, but not too cold. And this is a white wine you can decant. Let her get lots of air and she will open up beautifully.
